Chewy Chocolate Brownies




CHEWY CHOCOLATE BROWNIES
INGREDIENTS:
1 2/3  C       White Sugar
¾       C       Butter (melted)
2        Tbsp. Water
2                 Eggs
2        tsp.    Vanilla Extract
1 1/3  C       All Purpose Flour, sifted
¾       C       Cocoa Powder, sifted
¼       tsp.    Salt
¾       C       Chopped Nuts
1        tsp.    Baking powder

PROCEDURE:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.  Grease 13 x 9 inch. Baking pan.   
  2.  Combine sugar, butter and water in a bowl.  Stir in eggs and vanilla.  Until Creamy.  Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a bowl.  Stir into sugar mixture.  Stir in nuts, spread into prepared baking pan. 
  3. Bake for 18 – 25 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center come out slightly sticky.
  4. Cut into bars.

  
NOTE:   If you want to become moist just ADD one (1) egg yolk only and instead of 1 2/3 cup of white sugar I used 1 1/3 cup of white sugar for exact sweetness for me.
